01 Nov Graffeo Serves Again on The Vulcan Community Awards Selection Committee
November 1, 2018 – Graffeo Law, LLC announces that attorney Vincent J. Graffeo served as a member of the 2018 Fifth Annual The Vulcans Community Awards selection committee. The Vulcan Awards, presented by the Vulcan Park Foundation since 2014, honor citizens in the Birmingham seven-county metro region who exemplify civic pride, progress and leadership. As a member of the twelve member selection committee, V. J. Graffeo assisted with the review and selection of final winners out of many worthy nominations. This year’s winners were announced during an awards banquet on November 1, 2018 at The Club in Birmingham, Alabama. Vulcans Awards were presented to Dr. Charles Scotty McCallum, Jr., Lifetime Achievement; Sean Fredella, Hero; J. W. Carpenter, Servant Leadership; Edward K. Aldag, Jr., Game Changer; and Jenny Short, Newcomer. Spear Awards were presented to Timothy Alexander and Austin Perine, Hero; Lisa Borden and Marvell Bivins , Servant Leadership; Brian Hawkins and Dr. Hollie Cost, Game Changer; and Christopher Nanni and Lizzie Wilkerson, Newcomer. “The Fifth Anniversary Vulcans Award winners personify all that is great in Birmingham – steadfast excellence, selfless service, innovative impact and extraordinary actions,” remarked V.
